In May of l990, we reserved a Bed and Breakfast just a few blocks from downtown historical Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This was a restful B&B, just what we needed as we were both working in stressful jobs at the time. The couple that owned it were delightful and served wonderful brunches each morning and the rooms were beautifully decorated in early American...without a TV! They had a big screened in porch where you could sit for hours enjoying the birds, squirrels and flowers in their back yard.
We saw the great Passion Play, Inspiration Point and the Thorn Crown Chapel during our stay and even attended a Pine Mountain Jamboree.
We purchased a cookbook that the owners had put together containing some of their delicious breakfast recipes. I was determined to prepare some of them when we got home. Unfortunately the cookbook is still on the shelf unused but we have wonderful memories of this trip.
