In February of l989, Brian had just graduated from college, Stacey had vacation time from her job and we were able to take time off from our jobs, so we decided to take a family ski trip to Colorado. We stayed with my sister and her husband in Littleton and they took us to a lodge in Beaver Village. We skied in Winter Park...or I should say Stacey and Brian skied!!! Berk and I thought it would be SAFER if we saw the mountains INSIDE a Snow Cat that took us to an altitude of 12,000 feet!! We watched the down hill races, did lots of people watching and enjoyed the winter scenery while Stacey and Brian conquered the difficult "Mary Jane" trail!
With four busy lives, I still can't believe we coordinated this trip.
